MLB -DDA

The MLB-DDA is an innovative cross-sector partnership, which uses baseball as a motor for change in the Dominican Republic. With all 30 MLB teams operating baseball academies in the DR and Dominicans representing a significant percentage of major leaguers, MLB recognizes the importance of giving back to the country.

Major League Baseball has teamed up with the US Agency for International Development and six non-profits to support community development initiatives in rural communities and urban slums.
