The three main objectives of the plan are as
follows:
Contribute to the
creation of a new corporate image image of
Cristobal Colon and Angelina Sugar Mills,
Improve the life
conditions of sugar cane communities of
Cristobal Colon and Angelina Sugar Mills
implementing land development projects,
housing projects, environmental clean-up,
credit support, health and education.
Gathering, at the same time, the sugar cane
communities of Cristobal Colon and Angelina
Sugar Mills in three populated communities,
according to the company they work and
avoiding future overcrowding.
The Plan consists of the following phases:
Housing program for
Cayacoa that brings together two
communities: Dos Hermanos and Moruno, it
includes designing and construction of 132
homes, community facilities and sidewalks.
Social and health
programs for the communities of Cayacoa, Dos
Hermanos, Batey Central and Angelina.
Construction of Batey
Central School.
Batey Central housing
program that includes includes designing and
homes construction, community facilities and
sidewalks.
Housing programs for
other agricultural areas that include
designing and homes construction, community
facilities and sidewalks.
This project represents one of the greatest
and most important initiatives of social
investment in Dominican Republic. |
